Testimonials

  • Odisha

My recent trip to Odisha with Odyssey Tours and Travels, was spectacular! A beautifully curated itinerary which included an in-depth experience of the art and culture of the state.

The visit to the temples and monuments were an experience in themselves. A terracotta temple was something I saw for the first time.

The food was par excellence and a cooking demonstration was the cherry on the cake! Great care was taken to cater to food allergies as well.

The hotels were the best as always...

The Belgadia Palace was unique and very comfortable and luxurious a place.

The trip was very thoughtfully put together and went through with no stress to any of us. We had a wonderful time and came back with wonderful memories and loads of new friends

Looking forward to another trip soon.

Thank you Aparna, and Odyssey Tours and Travels.

  • Finland

Hi Fatima, just wanted to tell you how happy both Soma and I were about the way the entire tour was conducted so flawlessly by you. We are both frequent travellers however this trip was by far one of the most, if not the most interesting in every way. The destination, the weather, the various activities, the accommodation, in fact just about everything. And what was most impressive was how you ensured that everything went off like clockwork without a single hitch during the entire period. We were aware about the demands this placed on you because at times there were tight time constraints.

Any delay could have resulted in the cancellation of a particular activity but the professional way you ensured (and at times had to herd the laggards including yours truly) so that all went as per plan was really fantastic. And always with a smile! Thank you once again. And also please thank the back end team too for a really well curated and organised trip.

  • Chettinad

Chettinad was an immersive experience, curated by Odessey. The hotels were heritage Chettiar homes. The food was authentic. My takeaway was the experiences in interacting with local artists and seeing them create amazing brassware, glass tiles, and terracotta horses. Our guides were knowledgeable and the Chettiar mansions were mind blowing. Our temple visits were also arranged for the best darshans during quieter times. Odessy goes the extra mile to make lasting memories for me.

  • South Africa

I have been on an excellent holiday, a trip to South Africa from
29-aug to 09 sep 2024 with Odyssey Travels. We were a small group of seven, all ladies with similar interests and could gel with each other so well. The entire holiday was so meticulously planned-to the smallest of details as per each ones likes, food choices etc. Best thing is that they stuck to the schedule, were punctual with timings etc and gave us ample free time for leisure. Our stay at all places were in very comfortable hotels and the transport was also very comfortable. The restaurants and cafes where we went for our meals were superb, of high quality. Each one in our group was made to feel like a VIP. This was my second holiday with Odyssey and would in future too love to go with them. I wish them well in all their future ventures.

  • Egypt

My trip to Egypt with Odyssey travels was magical and amazing. Egypt was beautiful, full of ancient history, which was extensively covered by knowledgeable guides organised by Odyssey. Food and stay was the best. The Nile Cruise was fantastic. The whole tour was beyond my expectations. I will definitely travel with Odyssey again.

  • Rajasthan: Desert & Beyond

Rajasthan had been on my mind for years and when I saw the Odyssey itinerary it was a clincher for me. The tour was planned impeccably with great detailing and off beat experiences that just made the tour so very memorable. The properties we stayed in, to the fantastic meals located on a dune, farm, or rooftop and even an olive garden made this trip incredible. It's like the trip was designed to make you go wow and that happened many times. Thank you Odyssey travels for not just a wonderful trip but so much learning and expanding of mindsets through the travel. Looking forward to the next.

  • Odyssey Explore Tour to El Camino de Santiago in Sep 2019

Our week long adventure on the El Camino was one of the more memorable vacations we’ve been on. We usually do extensive research on trips we go on, but this one, we left entirely to you (Aparna) - because we were quite certain it would be perfect - and we were not wrong. From selecting members of the group at relatively equal energy levels, to picking overnight locations that had us walking in mouths wide open, to keeping track of eleven slightly free spirited people, you pulled it together marvelously. The background planning, before and after tripping and food and restaurant selections were meticulous, especially with varied food restrictions and occasional fussiness. The choice of trip, the path taken, and the guide chosen, all made for a vacation I could not have thought up. Look forward to more planned walking holidays with Odyssey Travels.
    Thank you

  • Odyssey Explore Tour to El Camino de Santiago in Sep 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Israel and Jordan Tour. It was, as always, well researched and planned. The representative of Odyssey Travels was very helpful and courteous throughout the tour. The guides both in Israel and Jordan were well chosen, who took into account the age group and interests of the members of the group. On the whole an outstanding tour, which me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed.

  • Odyssey Explore Tour to El Camino de Santiago in Sep 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed our Japan Tour. It was well planned, well organised and well executed. You have mixed sight-seeing, shopping and leisure properly. The group was perfect and it was a fun to drink together at the dinner-time. We look forward to having this type of tours ranging from 8 to 15 days depending on the location.
